Ok so I am not in my garden very much. You could even call me a lazy gardener, but I enjoy the fruits of my labors (even if I don't labor very much :)
Garrett and I just took a look at all the things that are growing right now. We planted a peach and nectarine tree the first summer we moved in (about 3 1/2 years ago) and they are finally producing fruit. We checked the peach tree and they are almost ready. (Anyone have good advise on when to pick peaches??) the one I tried was sweet but still crunchy in the middle.
This tree is loaded with beautiful fruit!!!The nectarine tree only has about 6 nectarines on it and even then they are kind of ugly looking! But I tried one to see if they were ready. I can say that it was the sweetest nectarine I have ever had!! I had to stop and savor it for a few minutes it was that good.We have more grapes this year also. I've gotten a great crop of tomatoes this year. (I grow them the best!)In the garden box are my yellow pear tomatoes and my purple cherry tomatoes which are really yummy. They look red but are really purple.
This year was the first time we have had success growing pumpkins. Only three actually developed though.
Lastly, Ean wanted to grow watermelon and amazingly two have actually grown. They are the size of my hand and I don't know if they will get much bigger, but Ean thinks it's neat.
Your garden looks great! Our watermelon are that size too and we're hoping they're not done growing!!
