Sunday

Today was an especially nice Sunday. We started off the day with Regional Conference. We were able to listen to the general Young Women and Young Men Presidents. They had so many good things to say to the youth of the church. Be an example!! Then we heard from Elder David A. Bednar. He is such an awesome man. He talked about testimonies and then went on to talk about Conversion. My favorite quote: "Conversion is consistently being true to what you know." I definitely could be more consistent in my life. :)
After being spiritually fed, we came home and had some lunch and then we headed up the mountains to go on a hike and see the fall colors.
It was warm in the sun and cool in the shade. The kids loved the leaves that were all over the trail. They would jump from rock to rock pretending it was a river.
Aaron carried Aubrey except when she wanted to walk. That was very slow going.
We saw two "patapillers" as Garrett likes to call them. He didn't want to hold it, just pet it.
Here is a family picture taken by the timer. :) Fortunately there was a handy boulder to use as a tripod.
This was one mile or so up the trail and it was our destination. The kids loved to hop from rock to rock without getting wet.

I love this man.

On our way down Little Cottonwood Canyon,we stopped at one other trail. It took us five minutes to reach this little water fall.

So glad to get out with my family.
