Ean just hit his 7th birthday. I asked him how he felt yesterday. He thought about it for a moment and then said, "I feel older and wiser." Funny boy. He also woke us up to remind us it was his birthday.
We spent part of the day helping with karate testing. Then Ean and I went to lunch. After that it was pretty lazy day. He picked supper and we sang to him and he got to pick a treat other than cake (next Saturday he gets a friend party). He wanted doughnuts. He was so excited to be the birthday boy today and seemed to enjoy himself a lot.
Update: A shout out to Becky for the book. My kids always enjoy that mail on there birthdays! And to Mom. Ean loved assembling some monsters. :)
