This is Halloween, Everybody make a scene

So for us, Halloween Weekend was good. Thursday, we briefly stopped in on a nursery aged party a friend put on. She did a great job. The kids enjoyed pin the nose on the pumpkin and a foam pumpkin craft along with treats (of course) and prizes.

Kaylie had her halloween parade at school that morning and I missed getting a picture because the kids had the camera..oh well.
You can see Kaylie's wing behind her teacher the 70's disco guy. Blah!
Later Friday evening, we went to our church party and trunk or treat. Aaron was studying and so I took kids and off we went. We had a chilie cook off. I made clam chowder :)
Kaylie "helping" Ean with the apple bob :)
Ean ran around looking like this most of the night...not sure what he was doing but he wanted a picture.
My good friend Ashley had a hot dog out fit too. Had to get a picture.
Saturday I was on my own due to Aaron taking the 8 hour FE exam for engineering so the kids and I carved our pumpkins.

When Aaron got home, Aubrey stayed with him and the rest of us went out for a brief soggy trick or treating adventure. All in all the kids had fun, we gave out a bowl of candy and gained a bowl and a half back!!
Amazingly we had no trick or treaters on Sunday. Aaron was so excited to give the first person to ring our door bell all the reserve we left for Sunday. He was sadly disappointed. There was not even one.
The kids ended dressing up as the following:
A heavenly Angel (picture coming soon)

A Skeleton

A Girraffe
And a Hot Dog
