A fun day

It was a great day yesterday. The kids and I went up to Orem yesterday to make festive graham cracker houses with my dear friend Diane. It was great to chat and create and the kids enjoyed themselves too.

That night we had our Ward Christmas party. There was a dinner along with the nativity story and Santa. We had a good time.
The Young Women and Leaders painted this Lovely scene. It was really fun to use those skills again.
We also had a visit from Santa at the end. The oldest three sat on his lap. Kaylie is pretty sure it is just someone dressed up as Santa. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and not to spoil it for everyone else.

Garrett was pretty enchanted by Santa who walked right by him coming in. There was no shyness at all when going to sit in his lap.
Ean asked for matchbox cars. Santa then proceeded to tease him about wanting a girlfriend and a purple dress and other such silliness. They had a good laugh.
Santa making Kaylie laugh!

Kaylie says she will be happy with whatever she gets for Christmas
