Sadly, I don't have the before pictures for these. Certain munchkins, who shall not be named, deleted them from my camera. But here we go. I found this first dresser at the DI and it happened to be stained with a pretty hideous orange. From the picture it doesn't look very bad, but it really was.

I decided to paint it black and have been learning the art of spray paint furniture redo's from the blog www.allthingsthrifty.com Here is the finished product.

Since I was doing one dresser I figured I should probably paint Garrett's dresser while I was at it. It happened to be a lovely yellow from when Kaylie used it as a toddler. A little look at the color it was before

Now it looks like this.

I'm really happy how they turned out. :) Or maybe that's the paint fumes talking....
They look really good!! That is very nice Tricia.Next time I want to do a painting project I will have to try Spray painting!
ReplyDeletelooks great!
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, crafty you. I'm impressed. Were your fingertips totally dying by the time you finished? I painted a picture frame in the grass once and not only did my fingers ache, but my grass had a big, black square on it for a month and a half!
