Easter 2011

Happy Easter!!!

We started off the festivities by heading out to my sister's house on Saturday for 0ur annual Easter hunt. It was a simple little hunt but it doesn't take much to put smiles on their faces. It was also great to meet baby Ellie for the first time. :)

We let Garrett and Annie go first so they at least had a chance to find a few eggs before the two older kids blew in to claim everything else.

Later in the evening we got out our carton of eggs to dye and decorate.
Of course it is much more fun to make monster easter eggs!!!

Easter Morning is a very simple affair at our house. I like to keep the Easter craziness for Saturday and then Sunday, focus more on the Savior. Sunday morning we put out one basket for all to enjoy. When it's gone, it's gone :) This year I bought less candy and some more spring trinkets. A little more playing and less of a sugar high.
