New Glasses and other odds and ends

So one more thing that happened last week while Aaron was gone was that Garrett snapped my glasses in half. I was not happy but made the appointment to get a eye checkup and get some new ones. He knows not to break glasses any more...hopefully (no, I didn't beat him into submission..:) I actually kept very calm about the whole thing and hopefully it will never happen again.
So these glasses are similar to my last pair...Have you gone to look at frames lately??? My choices were "old lady" (which are very popular with the young tweeners apparently), "wire" (not my thing), and then you have the "90's retro styles" you know the kind...big, black, ugly...I lived in that era I really don't want to go back and look like I did as a teen. One pair is all I could find so it is what I got!
Last Sunday was an annular eclipse, and the clouds parted and the sun came out to catch the best minutes of this thing. Sadly in the picture below you can't tell what's happening, but a neighbor brought out his welding mask so all the kids and adults could take a look at the cool event.
 Awesome shadow
We went to look at garage sales on Saturday and we found this gem for 3 bucks. Garrett calls it his "trampoclean." This cracks me up.
