Hawaiian Night

There was a Hawaiian night fund raising auction in our neighborhood last night. As part of the Young Women, we were in charge of making it happen. It is rather daunting to be in charge of a Ward sized party. It was a crazy learning experience but was a success none the less.
I learned a lot of things that I will do next time when the time comes. Committee's are very important and you can't be doing everything at once. Yeah you might say...duh Tricia. But sometimes the best way to learn doesn't happen until you've tried one way. I also learned that if you have a good plan to start off with, you will spend less time and energy executing those plans.
Thank goodness it's over with. Sure glad it was successful. And people seemed to have a really good time.
Here is Kaylie decked out in some of the leftover decorations and leis. She thinks they are fantastic!!

  1. Tricia - your family is beautiful. Congratulations on a successful activity. You will enjoy some down time now. Thank you for your encouragement on The Skinny, and I'll be thinking of YOU this week, too! We can do it!
